The OAHPERD Annual Convention will take place virtually from January 17 through February 21, 2022.

The format of the event will consist of virtually recorded sessions submitted by OAHPERD members and other HPERD professionals. Registration will open in early January and sessions can be viewed at your leisure for up to 6 weeks.

FAQs


Q: Who can submit a recorded session?
A: Recorded session submissions are open to all. Session submissions will be viewed and competitively selected to ensure good quality educational sessions are offered during the virtual convention dates.

Q: How do I submit a recorded session?
A: Use the link above to enter your personal information, session details, and recording. Submissions and recordings are due by Monday, December 6th.

Q: How do I record myself?
A: You may use any platform you wish as long as the result is a professional recording. Check out this helpful instructional guide about recording your session on the Zoom platform.

Q: How long should my recorded session be?
A: Recorded sessions can by any length of time, but a max of 45 minutes.

Q: Can I submit more than one recorded session?
A: Yes! Multiple sessions will be considered. You are required to complete the submission form for each session you submit. 

Q: How will I know if my submission was selected?
A: OAHPERD will notify those who submit within approximately 2 weeks from the date of submission. Session submissions will be viewed and competitively selected to ensure good quality educational sessions are offered during the virtual convention dates.

Q: Do presenters have to pay for the convention?
A: OAHPERD recognizes the extra effort to record and submit a virtual presentation recording. Selected presenters are expected to register and pay for the convention, but will be offered a discounted rate!

Presentation that are considered an advertisement or selling platform will be required to purchase a sponsorship (see link above).
