Honorary Life Membership

Criteria

1. A candidate must be a retired health, physical education, recreation, dance and/or safety education professional who held membership in the Ohio Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance for at least (15) years, and was President of OAHPERD and/or recipient of the OAHPERD Meritorious Award and has served the Association and/or the profession in an exemplary and noteworthy fashion.
2. A member retiring in the state of Ohio, then assuming a full-time position in another state, is not considered eligible until he/she retires completely from the teaching field.
3. In nominating the candidate, use no more than three double spaced pages to describe and summarize the individual's exemplary service to OAHPERD and the profession.
